  Business Development Manager Wanted (Oil and Gas) Lagos

Employment type: Full time

As a Business Development manager, you will report to the Managing Director. Your responsibility will be to spot opportunities, evaluate inbound inquiries, build partnerships, collaborate with many internal functional groups, and negotiate and close government regulatory permits for the company.

Main Responsibilities:
• To develop and maintain external relations with government regulatory agencies
• To know principles of action and be responsible for obtaining all relevant government agency permits approvals needed within the Oil and Gas industries
• To assist the Managing Director in the process of identifying new prospective opportunities.
• Be responsible for expanding the company’s clientele by developing business and sourcing for contracts.
• Be responsible for analyzing and preparing pre-qualification packages and technical bid proposals.
• Be responsible for client relationship management and keeping up to date database/information on bids and pre-qualification packages submitted to client
• Provide strategic direction for business promotion planning and to ensure necessary administrative follow up of all activities of the business.

Requirements:
• Must have an Entrepreneurial perspective
• (Must be willing to provide a Road Map) to show strategy to be employed for efficient and effective performance with indicators
• Must have good knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry
• Must have at least 5 years post NYSC experience working in the Oil & Gas sector
• Must have at least 3 years Marketing/Business Development Experience
• Must have a fantastic personality, a smart mind and a positive attitude

Qualification:
B.Sc. in Business Administration, Engineering or Science but preferably Engineering /Sciences. Must not be more than 35 years.
