Description: You will be responsible for overseeing the technical management of the ships ensuring each vessel is maintained to the highest standard and has the resource to deliver operational excellence. This will involve preparing the vessel budgets and schedules for repairs as well as managing the dry dockings and planned maintenance. The person: The successful candidate must have a Class 1 (Engine) Certificate of Competency and previous sea-going experience on oil tankers as Chief Engineer. Relevant experience ashore as a Superintendent is highly desirable. In addition you will possess first rate decision-making, problem solving and organisational skills.
